Hi there! I'm Shelly Sims, and I’m so glad you stopped by! I’m originally from the heart of the Midwest – Indiana, where I grew up surrounded by cornfields, good food, and a tight-knit community. After spending 11 wonderful years as an elementary school teacher, Ive now been a Claremore newborn photographer for just as long! I absolutely love the photography life and enjoy every crazy, beautiful moment of family life.
I’m lucky enough to be married to my best friend, who somehow still loves me even when I have a lot of ideas I need help with. We’ve built a life together full of laughter, love, and the occasional traveling.
In my alone time you can usually find me diving into true crime podcasts (I’m a sucker for a good mystery), blasting country music, or indulging in a little too much dessert. I’ve been known to sneak an extra scoop of icing on the side... don’t judge – it’s a true passion of mine!
