Photographer, former elementary teacher, professional silly-noise maker, and the person behind all those little Storybooks.
my thing.
I spent my days with them.
Eleven years in an elementary classroom taught me something
I still use at nearly every session.
Kids don't need another grown-up telling them to sit still and smile.
They need someone willing to meet them where they are.
Shy kids take their time. Busy toddlers need to move.
Silly kids can be silly.
That's usually when the photographs start feeling like them.
11 years in an
elementary
classroom
Because childhood deserves better than disappearing into a camera roll.
12+ years
photographing
little people.
Which means
I know exactly how
quickly the little
years go.
Making completely
ridiculous noises
while holding a
camera.
right now
The curls. The missing teeth, The way they hold your hand. The things they love today might change next month, but the way this season feels is worth holding on to.
That's why I do what I do.
Kids can move, warm up slowly, need Mom, make weird faces or completely ignore my plan.
I'm looking for connection and personality, not a perfect smile in every frame.
I'll help with clothing, colors, setups and preparations before you ever arrive.
Tell me about them.
The curls. The missing teeth. The belly laughs. The stuffed animal that goes everywhere.
I want to hear all about the little person
you never want to forget.

How do storybooks work?
It’s best to book your newborn session while you’re still pregnant, ideally during your second or early third trimester. I only take a limited number of newborn sessions each month so I can leave room for babies who arrive earlier or later than expected. If your baby is already here, don’t worry. Reach out anyway. I may still have an opening for you.

How do storybooks work?
Newborn sessions are typically photographed within the first 2 weeks after birth, when babies are still extra sleepy and naturally curl into those sweet newborn poses.
That said, every baby is different. If your little one is a little older, don’t worry. Beautiful newborn photos can still be created beyond that two-week window.

That’s completely okay. Your baby does not have to sleep the entire session.
I allow plenty of time for feeding, cuddling, soothing, and breaks. If your baby is awake, I’ll photograph those sweet little expressions too. We simply follow your baby’s lead and never force a pose.
Some of my favorite newborn images happen when babies are wide awake and taking everything in.

Keep it simple and neutral. Soft colors and minimal patterns photograph best and keep the focus on your family.
You’ll also receive a full What to Wear guide in your welcome guide to help you plan everyone’s outfits.

Most newborn sessions take about 2–3 hours. That gives us plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks so we can move at your baby’s pace.

How do storybooks work?
Storybook sessions begin with a questionnaire so I can plan a story around your child or family. After your session, I turn your favorite images into a custom storybook, complete with your photos, illustrations, and a story written just for you.
